Season five of “The Chosen” continues to exceed all expectations.
In an inspiring and heartfelt interview with Charisma Media, Jonathan Roumie, who portrays Jesus on the show, shared his incredible experience of bringing some of the most powerful scenes to life in season five.

This season, known as the “Last Supper,” delves into some of the most challenging and heart-wrenching moments Jesus faced during Holy Week, including the very first communion.
“I had a lot of spiritual firepower behind me,” Roumie reflects about the scene.
Roumie believes that season five will capture the audience’s attention in an even more profound way than its predecessors.
“Every season, by the grace of God, we’re able to sort of level up the production value. And season five is no exception to that. It’s bigger than season four, It’s more action packed and emotionally driven, and goes deeper than we went even in season four.”
