Prophecy in Action? Trump Fires Big Bird?!
Is the prophetic dismantling by the Trump administration still in action?
Right now, the White House is seeking to rid $9.3 billion in federal spending that includes funding for the government-backed outlets NPR and PBS.
As American Faith noted, Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency, plans to eliminate the spending as “The administration argues that taxpayer subsidies for media outlets with perceived ideological bias are outdated and unnecessary in the digital age.”

This couldn’t be any more true. With the ongoing decline of legacy media, and the uncovering of bizarre Leftist ideologies, funding for programs that are known for indoctrination should not take precedence in the public square.
This comes right as Trump froze billions of dollars for Harvard University due to their negligence to fight antisemitism. With the recent decision to dismantle the Department of Education, Trump is not playing around when it comes to the saving of taxpayer dollars from wasteful spending.
Perhaps there is more to this from a spiritual perspective?
The Bible speaks of God dismantling corrupt systems as part of His redemptive process. In the Old Testament, prophets like Jeremiah and Isaiah frequently called for the destruction of corrupt systems and leaders who had led Israel astray, with the ultimate purpose of restoration.
For example, in Jeremiah 1:10, God commissions Jeremiah to “root out and pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant.” This process of dismantling prepares the ground for something better—restoration under God’s guidance.
The concept of dismantling in the Trump administration, such as cutting wasteful spending and challenging ideologically biased institutions, can be seen as part of the larger biblical narrative in the breaking down of ungodly structures to prepare for a more righteous rebuilding.
The dismantling of systems in America could be a prophetic call for national repentance and realignment with God’s purposes, leading to restoration that honors Him and brings healing to the land.
