“For 19 years, since 2005, I spend 30 minutes praying everyday when I get out of bed,” says Kennedy. “And my prayer is this: I asked God for 19 years to put me in a position where I could end the chronic disease epidemic and bring health back to our children. And in August, God sent me Donald Trump.”

Kennedy, who has been outspoken about the health crisis epidemic in our nation, says that he has faced plenty of vocal critics when it comes to health-related issues, with many telling him that he would ruin his future.

“What is happening to our children?” Kennedy asks. “And I saw this happening. I began writing about it and the media rose up and silenced me, in 2005, and nobody would talk about it,” Kennedy recalls. “The doctors wouldn’t talk about it, the pediatricians wouldn’t talk about it, the scientists, the government officials. And people warned me, if you keep talking about this, you’re going to destroy your career.”

Previously, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. talked with Joni Lamb about his faith growing up in a Catholic family and then later deciding for himself that he was going to believe in God for his own sake.
“I made an intellectual decision; I’m going to start believing in God,” Kennedy tells Lamb. “Then I’m faced with the dilemma that everybody who makes that commitment has, which is how do you start believing in something that you can’t see or smell or touch or taste or acquire with your senses?”

“You act as if the compliance will precede the evidence,” he continues. “You will see the evidence and it will be overwhelming.”
With just a few days until the election, Christians must press in and pray for the sake of our nation. The challenges we are facing are unprecedented, and the battle we are facing must be fought in the spirit.
