Spiritual Deception In Education? You Need to Know THIS!
There just may be a deeper, darker side to the public education system than we all thought.
For over a century, America’s public education system has strayed from biblical truth and sound instruction—both academically and spiritually.
A failed reading method introduced by Horace Mann in the 1800s, originally designed for deaf students, was implemented in Boston schools with disastrous results. Though initially rejected by educators, it was later revived by progressive educator John Dewey, with support from globalist elites like John D. Rockefeller. This “whole-word” method replaced phonics, the natural and effective way children learn to read. The result? Generations of children who are unable to comprehend basic text—let alone the Word of God.

Alex Newman, author and education reform advocate, warns that this manufactured crisis has left over 50% of Americans functionally illiterate, according to federal data. Beyond poor reading skills, the emotional fallout is devastating: children feel ashamed, broken and mislabeled with learning disorders. Many spiral into depression and rebellion, eventually finding themselves in the criminal justice system. A staggering percentage of inmates in the U.S. are illiterate. Newman draws a direct line from failed education policies to societal collapse.
But this crisis is not just about literacy. It’s about spiritual deception seeping into every corner of our culture, including the classroom. One recent example comes from Faithful America, a progressive group promoting a blasphemous “transgender cross” amid their revolt against President Trump’s decision to dismantle the Department of Education.
The public school system hasn’t failed Americans just with teaching methods: indoctrination away from Christianity has become a hallmark of the public school system. From critical race theory to radical gender ideology, all academic standards appear to have crumbled.
Newman, who has been homeschooling his children for years, emphasized that the Bible commands parents to educate their children in God’s ways. He believes homeschooling not only aligns with this divine mandate but also offers unparalleled freedom to shape children’s hearts and minds. With a focus on the family bond and the importance of fun, freedom and educational flexibility, Newman encouraged parents to consider the joys and blessings of homeschooling.
While homeschoolers and those in private education are under increasing scrutiny from legislators, the public school system just continues to fail both morally and academically. As Christians, we must ask: Is this a system aligned with Christ—or one actively working against Him?
