One of the biggest highlights was the reveal of “The Chosen’s” takeover of Times Square, where scenes from the series lit up massive digital billboards. This campaign, aimed at introducing new audiences to the show, has already drawn significant attention.

Perhaps a couple of the biggest announcements from Jenkins included the show’s new partnership with Amazon Prime, and the beginning of “The Chosen Adventures,” a brand-new animated series designed to engage children with biblical stories in an entertaining and meaningful way.

“‘The Chosen Adventures’ is the animated series we’ve been working on for a couple of years,” Jenkins says. “Ryan Swanson, who’s the head writer on ‘The Chosen’…[he] has been overseeing that process along with myself and a whole team, and it’s just turning out so beautifully.”

Speaking about the new partnership with Prime, Jenkins talks about how some of their other streaming partners have previously asked for exclusivity to “The Chosen,” and after lots of thought and prayer, they have decided for the show’s third-party platform to be Amazon Prime.

“They also want to help us bring the rest of the Bible universe to life,” Jenkins says. “Right now, we’re in serious discussions about Joseph. It’s not finalized yet, but the Joseph miniseries very well could end up being an Amazon original that they will finance that will allow us to bring that show out while we’re still working on the current show.”

Season 5 is set to bring some of the most powerful moments in biblical history to life, including the triumphal entry, the Last Supper and Judas’s betrayal. The first episodes will hit theaters starting Mar. 28, with expanded releases worldwide.

As “The Chosen” continues to spread across the globe, it has ignited deep conversations about faith, bridging cultural gaps and sparking a renewed interest in the Gospel.
