A Blatant Attack on Christians and Christian Values

Share:

As the Nashville community recovers from the recent cowardly attack on Christian children, many people are still trying to wrap their minds around how and why the murders occurred.

The radical left, however, has wasted no time trying to twist the despicable act to their advantage.

The biased media wasted no time turning this hate-crime against Christians into a full court press attacking biblical values and our constitutional rights.

Here are three ways the left is continuing to victimize the very group the “transgender” mass murderer was targeting.

1. The media openly attacked Tennesseans, Christians and Republicans for being anti-transgender and pro-gun.

Following the shooting, ABC, NBC, CBS, NPR, CNN, Facebook, Apple News, Google News and big tech blamed:

  • The new Tennessee transgender laws against child body mutilations and “drag queen for children” events.
  • Christians for their “backward hate” towards transgenders.
  • Republican politicians blocking more gun control

Most of the media covered up the anti-Christian hate crime, treating it like an inner city shooting.

ABC focused on Tennessee’s ban on drag queen shows for kids. MSNBC said Tennessee was “ground zero for transgender attacks.”

The nation’s newspapers headlines censored the word “Christian” in their headlines.

  • The Washington Post headline read, “6 Slain in Shooting in Nashville School.”
  • The New York Times headline read, “Heavily Armed Assailant Kills 6 at School in Nashville.”
  • NBC and CBS wouldn’t mention that the killer was transgender in their headlines.

But the media—including MSNBC, PBS and Business Insider—did say that Christians were a threat to the LGBTQ community.

Some called for “regulating” Christian schools.

Some accused Christian’s because of their “hate.”

However, the truth is that the killer was a transgender filled with hate against Christians.

In response to the shooting, GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy tweeted, “When someone says they’re trans, it usually means ‘something else’ is badly wrong in their life. Let’s abandon the farce that the ‘humane’ thing to do is to affirm their confusion, rather than to actually help. It’s inhumane. My heart goes out to the victims and their families in Nashville.”

Radio/Podcast personality Candace Owens also commented on the shootings, tweeting, “It is always a very clear case of mental illness when someone identifies as trans. This was an anti-Christian hate crime motivated by radical left gender ideology.”

2. TV, social media and Liberal Politicians mocked prayer and Christians.

Immediately, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TV were filled with messages mocking Christians… especially in regard to prayer.

The messages were:

  • If prayer worked, wouldn’t the students be alive today?
  • Prayers didn’t do any good to the victims.
  • We need more gun control, not prayer.
  • We need political action, not prayer.

But as Christians:

  • We understand the power of prayer.
  • We understand it’s not that prayer has power in and of itself, but from God.
  • We understand prayer’s purpose isn’t commanding personal results.

As Christians, we recognize prayer is an act of obedience to God and His will for us to communicate with the true and living God.

Prayer is not controlling God according to our will. It’s based on a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He is the victor over evil, and He is the Comforter of the hurting.

The reality is, it’s not gun control that is going to stop this type of violence. It’s revival — revival in the hearts of men and women across America.

When President Biden addressed the killings, he asked Congress to pass his gun control bill.

When Tennessee Governor Bill Lee addressed the killings, he asked for prayer.

3. The White House reversed the roles of victim and victimizer.

Two days after the shooting, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in a public address, “Our hearts go out to the trans community, as they are under attack right now.”

This isn’t just a tone-deaf take.

This is part of a continuing pattern of elevating certain groups, considered “oppressed” in the Marxist hierarchy of victimhood, above all others… but especially above conservatives, Republicans and Christians.

Even as three small Christian children and three adults are murdered in cold blood by a radical, hate-filled ideologue, the very highest offices in our nation can’t let go of their Marxist talking points.

The secular, radical ideologies flip reality and truth.

Institutions held in high regard for generations are deemed archaic.

What was right is now wrong. What was bad is now good. What was true is now false.

But truth is truth.

March CM CoverThe greatest weapon of those at war with biblical worldview is not to argue that the truth we know is wrong, but that we CAN’T even know truth.

At Jesus’ trial, Pontius Pilate asked this very question, “What is truth?” Well, for Pilate and those on the left, Jesus answered this for you. “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6, NIV). {eoa}
