America’s Anthem: Bringing the Nation Back Into Its Destiny

How many times have you seen the phrase “your voice has power”? There is a biblical truth in this.

In Luke 16 (TPT), Jesus says to Peter “I give you the name Peter, a stone. And this rock will be the bedrock foundation on which I will build my church—my legislative assembly, and the power of death will not be able to overpower it! I will give you the keys of heaven’s kingdom realm to forbid on earth that which is forbidden in heaven, and to release on earth that which is released in heaven.”

This is the function of the sons and daughters of God on the earth. We are the government, the voice of authority on behalf of heaven, and we govern with our words.

Worship leader and minister Rachel Shafer knows this! Shafer wrote “America’s Anthem.” This is not just a patriotic song; it is a prophetic declaration to bring us back into alignment with God’s designed destiny for our nation. In this song, Shafer teaches us how to be governmental and walk in our authority through our words.

Her declaration begins with “We were founded on Your Word and Your laws, one nation, undivided under God. Liberty, freedom, truth, we call this nation back to you. Your destiny, it’s to be a light. No walls of hatred to divide. We are one nation with one God!”

In a recent interview on Booth To Ballot on Charisma Podcast Network, Shafer said, “There’s dominion in our sound.” The song has become a springboard of prayer as many churches are downloading the song for prayer gatherings.

While much of her life has been an unexpected journey, Shafer has seen God restore ugly, difficult moments, making them beautiful. Join us as we celebrate her story and champion her voice as a woman who is taking her rightful place of influence.
