Church of God Project Preserves Pentecostal Preaching

Share:

As part of its mission to protect Church of God heritage, the Dixon Pentecostal Research Center has a continuing project focused on preserving preaching.

“The Church of God has been blessed with many great pulpiteers who have had enormously important ministries and preached many powerfully anointed sermons,” says Dr. David Roebuck, director of the Pentecostal Research Center in Cleveland, Tenn. “Their sermons are being preserved so that their voices will not be lost, and their messages will continue to edify and challenge the Church of God.’

The goal of the project is to collect and make available sermons and other related ministry material. Among the notable preachers included are such as Wade H. Horton, James Cross, John Jernigan, Charles W. Conn, G.W. Lane, Paul L. Walker, and Ray H. Hughes. The project emphasizes both written and recorded sermons so that present and future generations can continue to benefit from their wisdom.
