MasterCard, Visa Pull Card Use on Pornhub, Site Purges ‘Unverified’ Videos

After months of pressure, the largest pornography website, Pornhub, is facing huge losses—both in content and in payment options: a critical fact many conservative activists are celebrating.

A New York Times piece started the pressure against the porn epicenter with allegations that the site contains illicit material of coerced sexual content and other egregious acts.

On Thursday, Dec. 10, Mastercard said in a statement to The Daily Caller, “Today, the use of our cards at Pornhub is being terminated. Our investigation over the past several days has confirmed violations of our standards prohibiting unlawful content on their site.

“As a result, and in accordance with our policies, we instructed the financial institutions that connect the site to our network to terminate acceptance,” the statement read. “In addition, we continue to investigate potential illegal content on other websites to take the appropriate action.”

Diane Hawkins, senior vice president and executive director of the National Center on Sexual Exploitation, said her organization had met with Visa and Mastercard earlier this year to ask them to stop processing payments for Pornhub “and we are grateful that both companies will make these significant changes.”

Since that time, the site announced the suspension of all unverified videos uploaded to its site from its conception in 2007.

Breaking: Video Reveals Nevada Republican Electors Casting Symbolic Presidential Votes for Trump

Amidst media reports from major outlets confirming Joe Biden’s victory in the Nevada college vote for President of the United States, six Republican electors met outside the Nevada State Legislature Monday to cast their symbolic votes for Donald J. Trump to retain the nation’s highest office.

The Associated Press, CNN, USnews.com and others had reported that Democratic electors had cast the state’s six electoral votes for Biden on Monday via a Zoom conference that took less than 20 minutes.

Electors signed pledges to vote for the presidential and vice presidential candidates who received the most votes in the state, as required under Nevada’s faithful electors law, and then filled out seven copies of their votes for state and federal records, USnews.com reports.

This comes after the Supreme Court rejected the state of Texas’ lawsuit that challenged election results in four key swing states: Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan and Georgia.

In a video from the Right Side Broadcasting Network, Republican electors said they plan to send the certifications from their reenactment to Washington, D.C.

Circuit Court Rules Tennessee Can Enforce Pro-Life Law

Recently, we told you about an amicus brief that the American Center for Law and Justice filed at the Sixth Circuit in support of pro-life laws protecting children from abortion for discriminatory reasons or in cases where a heartbeat has been found.

Those laws had been enjoined from enforcement by a district court; but now, the Sixth Circuit has overturned the injunction on the discriminatory abortion ban, which means that Tennessee can enforce the law that prohibits abortion in cases where the mother is seeking the procedure because of the race or sex of the baby or where the baby has been given a Down syndrome diagnosis.

The idea that abortionists would seek the right to abort a baby because of some perceived imperfection is appalling. It’s reminiscent of the same eugenics espoused by Planned Parenthood’s founder Margaret Sanger, who believed that through abortion we could create a superior race of people free from those whom she deemed the “unfit.”

Children with Down syndrome can live happy, productive lives and are a valued part of their communities. Additionally, as our brief stated, the absence of legal protections for these individuals creates a dangerous environment for healthy babies to be misdiagnosed by doctors and ultimately aborted.

Bishop Houston Miles, Founder of Evangel Fellowship International, Dies at 92

As a pastor, Bishop Houston Miles inspired, loved and led. As senior pastor of Evangel Cathedral in Spartanburg, South Carolina, from 1968-1999, he allowed the Holy Spirit to transform a traditional Pentecostal church into a vibrant, exciting outreach that birthed churches, ordained ministers and grew in members from 140 to 2,400.

Dr. Miles was born Oct. 28, 1928, and died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020.

“It is with joy and sadness that Evangel Fellowship International (EFI) announces the passing of our beloved Bishop, Houston Miles,” the ministry said in a public statement. “We know how much the Miles family is loved, and we are asking that you please honor them with time to deal with the passing of their husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. The one thing you can do now is pray for the family, friends, EFI family and the many people impacted by a life well-lived.”

Dr. Miles was called to pastor at 18, according to his son, Phillip Miles, who honored his father in October during EFI’s virtual conference called “2020: A Call to Courage.”

In a video, he tells of Miles’ first revival as a young minister. On the first night of services, the town drunk in Port St. Joe, Florida, was saved. {eoa}
