Controversial Pastor’s Church Vandalized Again, but He Won’t Back Down

Pastor Greg Locke of Global Vision Bible Church in Nashville refuses to be intimidated by those who are opposed to his message about today’s culture and his church.

Despite multiple incidents of vandalism, including the latest one on Saturday night, Locke refuses to back down and vows to stay strong in the Lord to continue His work.

“Our church was vandalized again last night,” Locke tweeted on Sunday. “Thanks to those who have been cleaning since 3 a.m. He’s caught on camera. Let me be clear, WE WILL NOT BE INTIMIDATED OR SILENCED!!”

The damage at Global Vision Bible Church includes the wood-based pulpit, which now has an expletive written over the embedded Scripture of Isaiah 61:1, which says, “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prisons to them that are bound.”

Locke refused to keep silent on his position regarding government lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic. He repeatedly called COVID a hoax and has refused to comply with government mandates from public health officials.

During one of his services in July, Locke defiantly took aim at the wearing of masks, saying, “Don’t believe in this Delta variant nonsense. Stop it. If you start showing up with all of these masks and nonsense, I will ask you to leave.”

In a previous tweet, he said, “Lockdowns do not stop the spread of a virus but they do cause the mass spread of government propaganda and media hysteria.” {eoa}
