Country Star’s Newest Single Celebrates Values America Was Founded On

Being patriotic is nothing new for country music singers, but songs uplifting America and the values it was founded on seem to hit differently than they once did.

It is now mainstream to hate on America. Every avenue of American life has seen some form of “America hating,” from sports, media, religious institutions and even the government has turned slamming the U.S. into a pastime of its own.

By contrast, Luke Bryan’s new single, “Country On” highlights many of the virtues that made America a beacon of freedom to the world.

Highlighting hard work, service to others and serving one’s community, Bryan bucked the trend of bashing America and instead lifted it up. By doing so, he uplifted the Judeo-Christian values the country was founded on.

Proverbs 14:23 tells us, “In all labor there is profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.” This verse could not be more accurate about how America become such a wealthy nation, to the downturn in living standards we are seeing today.

God commands people in His Word to work hard and reap the fruits of their labor (Gal. 6:9), and warns what will happen if one does not work hard and provide for their family (1 Tim.5:8).

What really stands out for Bryan’s new song is the tone. It is one of appreciation, and giving thanks for the service of others. In the “me”-focused society America has become, it is a breath of fresh air to hear someone saying “thank you” instead of always wanting more.

In a recent interview with SiriusXM, Bryan said:

“I love what the song says. I love that it uplifts the hardworking American people out there … this song brings a lot of unity in. It’s got feel-good vibes all around it.”

This uplifting and uniting song arrives on the heels of another smash country hit that took a hammer to the woke messaging of the Left.

John Rich, formerly of Big and Rich, hit #1 on the Apple iTunes charts with his single “Progress.” In it, Rich confronts the Biden administration and says the Left wants to “let go of Jesus and let government save…” Even more shocking, Rich’s song hit #1 without the help of any record label, marketing group or publisher. He simply uploaded it to social media platforms Truth Social and Rumble and the audience took it from there.

It will be interesting to see if Luke Bryan’s pro-America song will enjoy the same success as John Rich’s. One thing is for certain, there is an audience in the U.S. who loves this country and the values God imbued in it from its founding. {eoa}
