Cross-Denominational Pentecostals Unite to Celebrate the Holy Spirit at Pentecost
Empowered21 is inviting Spirit-empowered believers to participate in the USA Congress and celebrate the Holy Spirit Thursday through Saturday in Griffin, Georgia. This three-day event begins with a pre-conference hosted by SocialEcclesia.
The Empowered21 USA Congress 2014 will unite individuals from different denominations and backgrounds for a celebration of the Holy Spirit, with a focus on the significance of passing the importance of Pentecost to the next generation.
The SocialEcclesia pre-conference will include eight sessions, providing an opportunity for pastors and faith community leaders to learn best practices, balance, strategy and how to fully utilize modern tools, which can be used to advance the mission in Christ. The goal is to help position churches for a Spirit-led digital presence and purposeful engagement on social platforms.
Conference hosts include Alton Garrison, Empowered21 USA chair and assistant general superintendent of the Assemblies of God; Greg Surratt, Empowered21 USA vice-chair and founding pastor of Seacoast Church; and Rich Wilkerson, pastor, evangelist and author. Speakers include John Gray, associate teaching pastor at Lakewood Church; Dr. Mark Williams, pastor and general overseer of the Church of God; Peter Hass, pastor of Substance Church; and Dr. David Cooper, pastor of Mount Paran Church. The conference will be held at Griffin First Assembly.
