‘Cult Mom’ Displays Demonic Smile in Court

Jesus was not shy about discussing how protective His Father is when it comes to children. Leading a child to sin would be worse than having a millstone hung around one’s neck and being thrown into the sea, according to Matthew 18:6.

So, when someone commits the horrific act of murdering both of their children, you can quickly identify the demonic control over that person.

Lori Vallow Daybell and her husband Chad stand accused of murdering their two children, 7-year-old Joshua “J.J.” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan, along with Chad’s ex-wife 49-year-old Tammy Daybell.

The charges include multiple counts of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder and grand theft by deception.

This demonic behavior stems from the apocalyptic cult beliefs that Lori and Chad believed. These originated in an off-shoot of Mormon theology, and the occultic, apocalyptic literature that Chad wrote which is what first brought him to Lori’s attention.

Filling her mind with demonic influence and lies, Vallow Daybell believed that she had been “assigned to carry out the work of the 144,000 at Christ’s Second Coming…” and that she was a “goddess” with supernatural powers.

Their heinous crime is made worse with the allegation that she used her deceased daughter’s social security number while stealing the funds allotted to her murdered son.

No convictions have been made as the hearings are still taking place, however prosecutors for the state are seeking the death penalty due to the “aggravating circumstances” of Vallow Daybell’s alleged crimes.

Just as disturbing as the crimes themselves is how unmoved the plaintiff, who earned the nickname “cult mom,” has been during this entire ordeal.

With her children being listed as missing for months, Vallow Daybell and her husband left Idaho for Hawaii while allegedly collecting their dead children’s social security allotments. Compound that with how frequently she is seen smiling throughout the court hearings and one does not simply see someone with a mental illness, they see someone with a demon.

Her expressions of joy in the midst of a murder trial for children, and an ex-wife of her husband, run opposite to what real joy is. This trick by the devil and his minions has been in place from the Garden of Eden. Since Satan cannot create, he must warp and twist what God has created. His imitation joy that Vallow Daybell is trying to display is the furthest thing from true joy in Christ, it is a lie that she has fallen for.

Jesus came to earth for people like Lori Vallow Daybell. He explains this in Luke 5:30-32, “But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against His disciples, saying, ‘Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?’ Jesus answered them, ‘Those who are well do not need a physician, but those who are sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.'”

The gospel is filled with stories of Jesus casting out demons, and giving His disciples the power to do so. So, for Lori and Chad’s sake, pray they find healing with the Great Physician before they join the one who led them down this dark path. {eoa}
