Davey Blackburn Prophesies Ezekiel 37 After His Wife Was Brutally Murdered
Davey Blackburn stood side-by-side with his father-in-law in the pulpit as the two opened up about the brutal murder of Amanda Blackburn.
Already Davey and pastor Phil Byars, Amanda’s father, have blessed the name of the Lord and vigorously pursued forgiveness in the wake of her death.
But on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, the two grieving men chose to give their hearts back over to God in prophetic symbolism.
“What God is doing now, through this event, God is now breathing life into this army. And I believe in some way, some shape, some form that we can’t wrap our minds around it theologically,” Davey says in a sermon video posted online.
The pastor of Resonate Church then pointed to Ezekiel 37 as a prophetic example of the result of Amanda’s death.
“God didn’t cause this to happen but he allowed it to happen in such a way, he allowed the breath of Amanda to come out of her so that the breath could be breathed into you and into me so that we could advance the gospel in a way that history books have never even told.
“And I believe it is going to come out of this house. I believe it is gonna come out of our house in Indianapolis. I believe in this region, God’s gonna do something from the crossroads of America that’s gonna scatter across America, and we’re going to see a revival like we have never seen before,” Davey says.
