Former LGBTQ Community Members to March in Florida
The Freedom March will be holding events in West Palm Beach, Florida, this weekend. Former LGBTQ members will be gathering in West Palm Beach to share their testimonies of how God’s love changed their identities.
“We believe this is going to be our biggest Freedom March of the year,” organization founder Jeffrey McCall says. “We have had so many reach out to this ministry wanting community. We are so honored to be a part of what God is doing in this revival. We will be gathering in West Palm Beach to have two days filled with worship and testimonies of Gods power.”
The Freedom March events kick off Friday, Oct. 22, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Grace Chapel Church in Loxahatchee, Florida. Friday night’s service will consist of worship and testimonies from many who left the homosexual and transgender identities. On Saturday, the FM group will be gathering at the Myers Amphitheater from 12 to 5 p.m. for worship and testimonies. Freedom March welcomes all people to come hear the testimonies, including current members of LGBTQ community.
“We love the LGBTQ community,” McCall says. “Jesus loves the LGBTQ community and He shed his blood for them. We love sharing our stories to help encourage everyone of His love. The Bible says it’s His kindness that leads us to repentance.”
Baptism and prayer teams will also be part of the Freedom March.
“We want people there to encounter Jesus,” says Monet Beltran, one of the prayer team leaders. “If we know Jesus, then we know who we are called to be. It is refreshing to hear the testimonies of the power of Jesus’ transformative love. Please come and encounter God’s Spirit and we would love to pray for you.”
McCall and others began Freedom March in 2018 to share former LGBTQ testimonies.
“The church was pushing these testimonies to the back a lot of times,” McCall says. “Some pastors were scared to share these testimonies because they feared offending people. I started the first one in Washington D.C. to give the former LGBTQ members a place to speak up and have community.”
Since 2018, Freedom March has held events in downtown areas of U.S. cities. Testimonies of transformative identity through Christ Jesus have been shared.
“All are welcome to join us that weekend in West Palm Beach,” McCall says. “Whether you personally struggle with this issue, have family who are struggling, or just want to support your brothers and sisters in Christ who are going against the world’s narrative, we invite you to join us. We especially invite the LGBTQ community to hear the testimonies without any preconceived notions and just listen to what happened to these individuals.” {eoa]
