Words of Christ Prove the World Hates, Attacks Truth

Tribalism has taken hold within the world today. Whether it be race, religion, country, ethnicity or any other demographic, humans are drawing their own lines and standing with those who think and believe like them.
The greatest dividing factor was prophesied 2,000 years ago, by none other than the Messiah of humanity, Jesus Christ.
In John chapter 15, Jesus tells His disciples that they will be hated by the world because He is the truth and they hated Him for it as well.
He explains to them how sin is accepted by those who do not know God, and when they are confronted with the truth, which is Jesus and God’s Word, they will despise it.
This hateful mindset toward the truth of God and His design for humanity has become mainstream within the cultures of the United States and around the world.
Christians see this daily in the news and across all aspects of society from the political to education to the military, yet it has become so common many are either numb or ignorant of it occurring.
As an entire generation of youth are being bombarded with gender identity politics and medical procedures that leave their bodies permanently mutilated, those who speak out against this barbaric act are met with seething hatred.
Matt Walsh of the Daily Wire began a college campus tour promoting his documentary, “What is a Woman?” Up until recently, everyone knew the answer to that question, yet today a now-Supreme Court justice was unable to answer that question during her confirmation hearing claiming, “I am not a biologist.”
Yet when Walsh takes the stage to argue that men and women are the only two sexes and that a person cannot flippantly change what they are, he is met with fierce resistance. Walsh’s argument comes from the fact that God made man and woman to compliment one another, and that the definition of a man and a woman is quite simple:
“A female is that member of the human species who, by her nature, can become pregnant, while a male is the member of the human species who can impregnate the female,” Walsh explained.
His reasons for making a stand against this dangerous ideology: it is the truth.
“Nothing can have meaning, apart from truth. There is nothing to fight for, except for truth. Nothing to live for, except for truth. There’s no love without truth, there’s no joy without truth, there’s no beauty without truth, there’s no freedom without truth. There’s nothing without truth, and that’s why I won’t give it up for your sake. Or anyone else’s,” Walsh explained.
The world of sports is no different and just as hostile for a follower of Jesus as a public college campus is in America.
Jaelene Daniels is a female soccer player who has had to deal with the hatred of the world for her Christian beliefs.
When she refused to wear an LGBT-themed jersey on the U.S. Women’s National soccer team, she was attacked on Twitter by her own teammate (who is one of several open lesbians on the team as well as the coach at the time) and was called “intolerant” and “homophobic.”
“I just felt so convicted in my spirit that it wasn’t my job to wear this jersey,” she told “The 700 Club” in a 2018 interview. “I gave myself three days to just seek and pray and determine what [God] was asking me to do in this situation.”
After this incident she was not called up again for the women’s national team, which fully supports the LGBTQ agenda.
This hatred toward Daniels continued when she was signed to the North Carolina Courage, a professional soccer team in the National Women’s Soccer League. Her team went so far as to write a letter apologizing for re-signing her.
“In response to the recent news of re-signing Jaelene Daniels, we as a club acknowledge the impact this announcement has on our community,” the team said. “We’ve spent the past few days reading your messages and reflecting on our actions. We are very sorry to all those we have hurt, especially those within the LGBTQIA+ community.”
Daniels contract was not picked up by the Courage for the 2023 season.
In the political spectrum, when Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis told Americans to put on the “whole armor of God,” in reference to Ephesians 6:11-18, to stand against leftist and Marxist policies, he was condemned by secular newspapers across the country.
In his recent book “The Return of the Gods,” Jonathan Cahn details how these Marxist policies that encourage child mutilation and sacrifice by abortion are indeed spiritually motivated by evil spirits of old.
DeSantis has endured constant attacks from media and political figures for his stance on biblical values. He promotes freedom, family and morality and because of this is labeled a fascist (yet his stances promote individuality and not government control).
The words of Jesus always ring true, and are just as relevant today as they were for the 12 disciples. When Christians read the Word and equip themselves with the armor of God, they can withstand the hate that will come from the world that Jesus warned them of. {eoa}
