Leftist Hypocrisy? Pro-Abortionists Vandalize Another Pro-Life Headquarters, Bully Staff and Leave Vulgarities
As expected, the attacks on pro-life organizations by radical pro-abortion groups are escalating.
Only a couple of days after Wisconsin Family Action’s headquarters was vandalized — following last week’s leak of a document that the Supreme Court might overturn Roe v. Wade — it was reported that another organization was attacked by vandals; this time it was the office of Concerned Women for America (CWA) in Alexandria, Virginia.
Penny Nance, the president and CEO of CWA, told The Daily Wire that around 10 p.m. on Saturday night, a “leftist” who had previously harassed CWA staff “ripped up our security system, flipped off our camera, and peed on our door.”
“Attacks on our employees and our building will not deter Concerned Women for America from standing up for women and for babies,” said Nance. “We will not be bullied, we will not back down, and we will never, ever stop fighting to protect human life.”
Security camera footage provided by CWA showed a man repeatedly using hand gestures and urinating on the building. CWA told The Daily Wire it had filed a police report as well as a hate crime report with the FBI and alerted the Virginia attorney general that wiring from the building’s secure doorbell and camera had been ripped away.
The Daily Wire reported that CWA Press Secretary Katie Everett said the organization believes the individual who attacked them is “the same man who has repeatedly harassed staff by yelling ‘vulgar’ remarks at them.” Everett said CWA had previously reported the man to the Alexandria Police Department, noting that he is a white male around 30 years old with light brown hair. The Alexandria Police Department did not immediately respond to requests for comment from The Daily Wire.
“Over the past several weeks, employees have had hot coffee cups thrown at them while inside our gated parking garage, along with ongoing vulgar gestures and confrontational rantings made toward them,” Everett said. “These things have happened not once but several times. It escalated after the Alito leak.”
In a statement on their website, CWA said they have responded to these attacks by praying for the safety of both their staff and for this individual who “harbors such hatred towards us,” in addition to reporting the attacks to the police.
Abortion groups nationally have called for a large-scale backlash to the momentous news, calling for protesting at the homes of Supreme Court justices and even in Catholic masses. Protestors have already shown up to demonstrate at the homes of Justice Brett Kavanaugh, Chief Justice John Roberts, and Justice Samuel Alito. {eoa}
