More Network Outages? LinkedIn Goes Down Day After Meta
What do AT&T, Meta and LinkedIn all have in common?
All have experienced mysterious, widespread outages in the last couple of weeks, sending users across the nation into a frenzy.
In a message to customers, AT&T stated, “We recognize the frustration this outage has caused and know we let many of our customers down.”
Yet, this phone service outage wasn’t isolated alone to AT&T. Verizon, T-Mobile, Boost Mobile, Straight Talk, Cricket and Consumer Cellular all experienced issues as well. And now two weeks later, social media has become the next digital entity to go dark.
On Super Tuesday, Meta platforms like Facebook and Instagram mysteriously went down. Meta houses apps like Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, Threads and WhatsApp, experienced issues with their connectivity, creating a problem for a variety of social media consumers.
This led to Meta’s Communications Director, Andy Stone, to take to X where he said, “We’re aware people are having trouble accessing our services. We are working on this now.”

X owner, Elon Musk, discussed the outage by writing, “If you’re reading this post, it’s because our servers are working.”

Yet, the social media problems didn’t stop there. The day after Meta experienced what they called a “technical issue,” LinkedIn went down.

So, what’s the cause of all these digital outages? Are these just “technical issues?”
While a clear-cut and dry answer hasn’t been given, there are some with concerns about what this could mean for the future.
In a recent prophecy, Joseph Z said that cyberattacks would continue, largely also because of the candidates running for president.
“They know who’s the forerunner, they know who’s shutting down the others. They know who’s out ahead of the pack right now, and they don’t want it,” Z said.
As this year continues, let us prepare and move forward, realizing that our line to the digital world, while important, can be put on pause at any moment. {eoa}
