Parents Resist State’s Move to Tear Down the Nuclear Family
California’s legal landscape stirred as Attorney General Rob Bonta filed a civil rights lawsuit against a school district, sparking debates over the role of parents and the government in children’s lives.

The district’s “forced outing policy” is claimed by the attorney general to impinge on the privacy rights of LGBTQ students and infringe upon the state’s constitution.
Critics argue that this approach tramples on the rights of parents to make decisions regarding their children’s upbringing, a sentiment deeply rooted in the Bible.
