A Pentecostal church in Tennessee was vandalized with atheistic messages and anti-Semitic slurs last week.

Pastor James Mitchell of Napier Pentecostal Church in Hohenwald, Tennessee, says he discovered “There is no God” spray painted on the back door of the church, according to Fox News. He also found graffiti on the side of the church that included the Satanic symbol “666,” swastikas, explicit sexual images and racial slurs.

“It is sinful,” Mitchell says. “However, God forgives us, so we forgive them.”

The church thanked its community via Facebook for their support after the vandalism:

“At this point, we just ask that you continue to pray for the person/people who did this so that they will realize what they’ve done and do not continue to do these acts,” the church wrote. “We are praying that God will work in their lives and for their salvation in Jesus name!”

Police are still investigating the vandalism.
