Phil Robertson: The Soul of America Lies in Danger

Phil Robertson may not own a smartphone or a computer, but he certainly knows what is happening in America today.

The New York Times’ best-selling author and star of the television show Duck Dynasty is well aware that our country is headed down a dark path. In fact, he wrote his newest book, The Theft of America’s Soul, to try to help turn people’s hearts away from sin and to their Creator.

Robertson discussed the book and other cultural issues with host Dr. Steve Greene on the latest edition of “Greenelines” on the Charisma Podcast Network.

Robertson says even those in the church have a heart problem.

“When’s the last time you heard anyone in the news media, anyone in the institutions of higher learning and government say the word ‘sin’?” Robertson says. “It’s in the dictionary, and it’s in the Bible. It sounds like the word doesn’t even exist today.

“Sin is lawlessness. With everything we’ve got going on, you would think someone would say, ‘Do y’all think that we may have a sin problem here?’ They won’t even say the word, and then we become more and more lawless as we go forth as everything stacks on top of itself. … It’s a scary thought.”
