Police: Alleged Killer Says the Devil Made Him Do It
Police testified in court an alleged killer says he was driven by the devil to murder seven seemingly random victims.
Todd West allegedly went on a shooting spree, slaying three in Pennsylvania and four in New Jersey over the course of a several weeks.
Police charged West with seven counts of murder and testified in a hearing this week that the man said the devil made him do it.
“The voice was telling (Todd West), ‘Just eat, eat, stop being so picky,'” Allentown, Pennsylvania, police Detective John Brixius III testified.
According to police testimony, West claimed the devil told him his getaway car, used in one of the shooting rampages, was in police custody.
Co-defendants Robert Jourdain and Kareem Mitchell have been charged alongside West. After the trial, both were returned to the county jail with no bail.
