In front of a crowd filled with thousands of people recently, pop singer Justin Bieber prayed and worshipped God openly. In a post to his Instagram, Bieber wrote, “We release our selfish ways and know that you happily take them Jesus.”

Stopping the secular concert, Bieber sat and prayed with his head bowed and eyes closed. The massive crowd stood and listened to what the singer was saying.

Bieber welcomed the Holy Spirit into the arena, thanking God for His love and help in times of trouble. The singer boldly uttered, “You told us You’ll never leave us and You’ll never forsake us.”

The singer has been vocal about his faith over the years and will often encourage his followers to look to Jesus.

With his head bowed and eyes closed, he declared, “God, I pray right now for every fear, every insecurity, every bad thought we have about ourselves or someone else; we just release that right now in the name of Jesus.”

He was able to share with those at the concert who God is and why we all need Jesus through his bold prayers. In a time when depression is higher than ever, Bieber prayed over the crowd, ushering in the presence of God, “We thank You God, that You are here … I pray against any tormenting thought, any insecure thought, we just give it to You, in Jesus’ name.”

“You know the darkest, most shameful things in our heart, and You accept us and call us Yours,” he continued. “We are Your children, and You are well pleased.”

Bieber was joined by his band, who also appear to be followers of Jesus. He thanked God that his team has a desire to please Jesus, that they are not ashamed of the gospel. “You’re so big, You’re so powerful, we trust You,” Bieber prayed.

In the video, you can see the singer lift his arms in an act of worship to Jesus as the crowd stands watching what is going on. He openly declared God as “the Prince of Peace.”

A time of praise broke out from the band following the prayer. Joy filled the stage as Bieber and his team smiled and played their instruments as unto the Lord.

He posted the video to his Instagram page, and it has now received over 700,000 likes from people worldwide. {eoa}
