Leaders from around the globe are reaching out to congratulate Donald Trump on his election victory after he defeated Kamala Harris with 277 electoral votes to her 224 votes, with several states still counting votes.

Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu provided his well wishes to Trump through a post on X.

French President Emmanuel Macron also sent remarks on X to Trump, ready to unite the two nations in collaboration.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky gave a lengthy congratulations to Trump, writing how he was looking forward to “an era of a strong United States of America.”

I appreciate President Trump’s commitment to the “peace through strength” approach in global affairs. This is exactly the principle that can practically bring just peace in Ukraine closer. I am hopeful that we will put it into action together.

Hungarian Prime Minister Orbán Viktor wrote that Trump’s victory is exactly what the world needed.

The United Kingdom’s Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, put out an official statement, sharing his gratitude for America’s partnership with the U.K., stating, “As the closest of allies, we stand shoulder to shoulder in defence of our shared values of freedom, democracy and enterprise.”

Federal Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz congratulated Trump, stating that the U.S. and Germany will continue to work together for the “prosperity and freedom on both sides of the Atlantic.”

India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave the president-elect a “heartiest congratulations.”

El Salvador’s President, Nayib Bukele, wished Trump the best on his presidency, and that “May God bless and guide you.”

The prime minister of Australia, Anthony Albanese, wrote on X that “Working together, we can ensure the partnership between our nations and peoples remains strong into the future.”

Turkey also spoke out to congratulate Trump as President Recep Tayyip Erdogan saying, “I hope that Turkey-US relations will strengthen, that regional and global crises and wars, especially the Palestinian issue and the Russia-Ukraine war, will come to an end.”

The Netherlands leader, Geert Wilders, sent his well wishes in all-caps on X, writing, “NEVER STOP, ALWAYS KEEP FIGHTING AND WIN ELECTIONS!”

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni compared the bond between the United States and Italy as “sister nations,” saying, “Good work, Mr. President.”

The President of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, wrote that he looked forward to working “on our strategic bilateral relations and a strong transatlantic partnership.”

Even the President of the European Union Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, “warmly congratulate[d] Donald J. Trump.”

NATO and other nations like China, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Brazil and Argentina also sent their warm congratulations on how they look forward to working with Trump to secure peace for the world.

It’s clear that the entire world has been waiting to see how America would vote, and that with Trump’s victory, the world sees the United States as a strong key leader of the globe.
