Christians in Kazakhstan Face Persecution
Police raided a church in Aktobe, Kazakhstan while its members peacefully worshiped inside. Accused of illegally occupying the building, the pastor and church staff presented legal and official documents to the police. According to these videos, the police, who were drunk upon arrival, denied their cooperation and filed false reports saying no documents were provided.
The church was holding a service at its legal address, which the pastor provided documents to prove, but the police arrested one of the pastors and his family. His minor children, ages 7 and 11, were forced into the back of a police van with their parents. The family was taken away as church members watched.
Although the family was released, they remain in fear of what will happen next. Watch the videos below for the full story.
