Was this a miracle? Or just an oversight?
A 3-year-old girl pronounced dead suddenly woke up in church on Sunday—in a casket during her funeral in Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur in the Philippines.
According to PhilStar.com, Police Senior Inspector Heidil Teelan, Aurora police chief, said the child’s parents said the girl had a “severe fever” for days before her she landed in a medical clinic last Friday.
“During that time, the attending clinic personnel and physician confirmed that the young patient had no more pulse and was clinically dead last Saturday morning about 9 a.m.,” Teelan said.
The news outlet reports that one of the funeral-goers took the cover off the coffin and saw the little girl’s head move. The video below shows the mother picking up her child.
Was this a miraculous rebirth or medical malpractice? In any case, God intervened and saved the girl’s life.
