The Eyes of the Nations Once Again Turn Toward Jerusalem
Over the coming week, thousands of Christians from over 110 countries will connect via computers and mobile devices to take part in the annual Feast of Tabernacles celebration in Jerusalem, sponsored by the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem. The virtual event will take place September 20-27 and features daily streamed events from locations around Israel, opportunies to participate in anointed worship and prayer, over 100 on-demand seminars, and virtual tours of biblical sites in Israel.
The global Christian community is invited to connect virtually with the Feast from September 20-27 and learn more about the nation of Israel, her people and her history, and the central role she plays in God’s redemptive purposes for the world. Furthermore, enjoy these on-demand seminars, teachings and worship sessions from international and local guest speakers and worship leaders for the next three months or more depending on your registration package. Registration is open at www.icejusa.org/feast-online.
For over 40 years, Christians have come up to Jerusalem each year to stand with Israel during this fall feast in anticipation of the fulfillment of the words spoken by Zechariah that one day the nations would come to Jerusalem and celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. The ICEJ’s celebration of the Feast became the largest and most popular annual tourist event in Israel, which was moved to a virtual platform last year due to pandemic restrictions, and the ICEJ welcomed over 7,000 virtual pilgrims to Jerusalem during the 2020 Feast of Tabernacles.
The International Christian Embassy Jerusalem was established during the very first Christian celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles in September 1980, at a time when the last thirteen national embassies had just left Jerusalem for Tel Aviv. In response, over 1,000 Christians from some 40 nations attending that first Feast gathering decided to open the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem as an act of comfort and solidarity with the 3000-year old Jewish claim and connection to this city. The ICEJ has since grown into the world’s largest Christian Zionist ministry, with branch offices in over 90 nations and a reach into more than 170 nations worldwide.
