Coat-Hanger Charms: The Abortion Industry’s Latest Way to Celebrate Death

Share:

Just in time for the anniversary of the Gosnell trial, one abortion organization is offering a gruesome token of its appreciation for donors willing to fund abortion.

The DC Abortion Fund, which claims to be “the only organization in the D.C. region that focuses solely on disbursing small patient grants for abortion,” is offering donors “a coat-hanger pendant as a token of [its] thanks.”

The coat hanger is a reference to gruesome back-alley abortions that abortion radicals claim would replace today’s so-called “safe” abortions if abortion rights are limited in any way.

The sad irony is that this grotesque shrine to the altar of abortion is being offered by the culture of death in conjunction with the one-year anniversary of the Gosnell trial.

Abortionist Kermit Gosnell was convicted of three counts of first degree murder for the heinous slaying of babies born alive after botch abortions and one count of manslaughter for killing an adult patient. Gosnell took the coat hanger to a new extreme in the supposedly safe practice of committing abortion.

The fact that someone would wear a coat hanger as a display of support for abortion just shows that the culture of death knows no bounds.

Flaunting the grisly cruelty of a coat-hanger abortion as a way to promote abortion of any type is sickening. You don’t have to recognize the fact that abortion is the taking of innocent human life to see how disturbing this organization’s tactic is.

Yet as despicable as this tactic is, it is no worse than what the major abortion organizations are doing. In fact, Planned Parenthood and NARAL Pro-Choice America actively sought to profit off the eventual publicity of the Gosnell trial.

The abortion industry continues to expose itself for what it really is: a self-indulged juggernaut trampling on the innocence of human life—the greatest civil rights abuse of our day.

Life is precious—every life. Unborn babies and women alike deserve better than to be the pawns of big abortion.
