Deliverance Minister: Demonic Spirits Can Block Your Prophetic Destiny

I often hear people say, “I am in the desert,” “I’m in the wilderness” or “I have dry bones.” Their spiritual walk, when dry and stagnant, is often blamed on God or their own flesh.

People feel stuck and don’t know how to move forward and penetrate the weariness and fatigue they are experiencing. We justify our dry seasons by saying other people go through them or it is part of our normal spiritual walk to have valleys to move through.

I don’t believe this is true. We are called to live in victory, not defeat. We are called to live in abundance on the mountaintop, not in the darkness or what some will call “the pit.”

One of the reasons believers don’t move through the “wilderness” faster is that they do not realize a demonic spirit is in operation. That’s right! Have you ever stopped to consider your dryness is a spiritual attack on your prophetic destiny?

I’ve seen people blame their dry season on attack after attack or life’s happenings. We blame our flesh for failing to press through to our breakthrough. I’ve witnessed people blaming God and saying He caused the dryness or wilderness experience. Nothing could be further from the truth. He wouldn’t want us to be dry and stagnant spiritually. However, the enemy does come to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10).

We can’t move through to abundant living once again until we recognize and deal with the demonic attack penetrating us. We are in a war, a spiritual war, and we must acknowledge that war and learn how to fight that war. We fight by activating our faith even when we feel resistance, stale or stuck. We fight when we don’t feel as if there is any fight left and then we keep fighting some more.

You have a prophetic destiny. You have a calling only you can complete. You have something to do to advance the kingdom of God, and the enemy has sent out marching orders against you.

He wants you defeated! He wants you to lose your passion for prayer, Bible study and worship. He wants you to feel worthless, useless and condemn yourself. Don’t you realize he has you right where he wants you?

But, the good news is you can get back to where you used to be. How? Rise up and fight! Don’t settle for false contentment and spiritual warfare attacks. Don’t settle for being stuck spiritually. Rise up and defeat the enemy and get your spiritual walk back to where you want it to be and where God wants it to be.

You can do it! Recognize the attack! Conquer the attack! Renounce and rebuke the attack. Acknowledge that this is not your flesh; it doesn’t come from God, but you have an enemy out to defeat you! Now rise up and continue to defeat Him as Jesus already did! {eoa}
