End-Times Expert Tom Horn Shares Supernatural Encounter Behind Wormwood Prophecy

Biblical prophecy is showing up in the news more and more nowadays, especially with all the talk about Iraq and the war with Iran. Through his new book, The Wormwood Prophecy, end-times expert Tom Horn is shedding light on last-days prophecy that we are watching unfold before our eyes. And on my podcast today, he shares about a supernatural encounter he had that actually led him to write the book.

Horn has his own show called SkyWatch TV, which I had the privilege of joining him on earlier this month. We talked about Donald Trump and how the impeachment will affect his chances for the 2020 election, but we also had the opportunity to talk about The Wormwood Prophecy.

He told me that one end-times prophecy Christians might be tempted to overlook in the book of Revelation has to do with something the apostle John calls “Wormwood.” The passage talks about mountains crashing into the earth and destruction that breaks out. The symbolism within this passage can make it difficult to understand.

In his book, he reveals the symbolism behind the passage about Wormwood, showing how it is actually a giant asteroid. Scientists actually believe that this asteroid will collide with the Earth, making it possibly the greatest collision in history.

If this does indeed happen, then if you take into account the speed at which this asteroid is traveling, it seems it will hit the earth within 10 years.

Interestingly, the premise of this book came directly from a supernatural experience, Horn tells me.

“I came home one night from work and went to bed as usual,” he says. “The next thing I know, I’m standing in front of a brilliant white light. Now, somehow, in my mind, I knew that I was standing in front of God. I also somehow in my mind knew that He had told me some things. But then He said, ‘It’s time for you to go back now and you’re not going to remember what I’ve told you.'”

Horn says he started hollering in his dream, asking the Lord not to let him forget. But immediately, he felt he was falling backward—as if out of a plane. He says he felt himself fall through his roof and into his bed, gasping as he woke up.

“I’m sitting there trying to collect my thoughts, and I hear my young, beautiful wife Nita on the bed next to me, and she’s sobbing,” he says. “And I turned and looked at her and I said, ‘Babe, what’s going on? What’s the matter?’ … Finally, she tells me how she had woken up in the middle of the night, and I was dead. I was gone. No breath, no heartbeat, no pulse, no anything. And so she started beating on my chest, breathing into my mouth, trying to resuscitate me, not really knowing what she was doing.”

The next day, Horn went to his pastor and told him what happened, but the pastor simply minimized his experience. So Horn kept his experience to himself. But he prayed every day about it, asking God why He would show him these incredible things in his dream but not let him remember any of it.

But around that time, Horn stumbled upon Job 33:14-17, which says: “For God speaks once, yes twice, yet man does not perceive it. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, in slumber on their beds, then He opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction, that He might turn aside man from his purpose, and conceal pride from man.”

Now, Horn understands why God kept him from remembering the full contents of his dream. He knew that if he would one day have the platform he has today, it would have been easy for him at that time, as a young preacher, to fall into pride.

Since then, Horn has had several similar experiences through which God has revealed eerily accurate prophecies. For instance, in 2011, Horn predicted that Pope Benedict XVI would resign in April 2012. Although at first it appeared Pope Benedict resigned in February 2013, the Vatican later revealed that he had secretly resigned in March 2012 and that it was officially accepted in April 2012.

The Wormwood Prophecy comes from a similar prophetic experience, Horn says, but this one was infinitely more terrifying.

“At first, I thought I was looking at a giant, fiery dragon deep in the heavens, swimming like a serpent toward the Earth,” he says. “… Then I realized that I was actually looking at a massive rock that was racing toward Earth through space. But as it was turning as it went through space; the way the sun was lighting on the contours of it gave it the appearance that it was moving like a serpent through space.

“… Now, I knew that there was an ancient chaos dragon and an Egyptian god of darkness and chaos called Apophis. I didn’t know much about it. I also knew that NASA had named an asteroid Apophis, but I didn’t know anything about it or why.”

But when Horn woke up from his prophetic dream, he began researching this asteroid named Apophis and the ancient so-called gods by the same name. The more he researched, the more he became convinced that the asteroid would strike the Earth on Friday, April 13, 2029.

I highly encourage you to listen to my full podcast with Horn, where he goes into more detail about his prophetic dreams and the intensive research he did about Apophis. You can click here to listen.
