God Is the God of the Turnaround
When God created the earth in Genesis 1, He entered the darkness and displayed His turnaround nature. Genesis 1:2 (NIV) says, “Now the earth was formless and empty; darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.” However, God spoke His creative, evocative words and turned the formless, empty, dark earth into a beautiful land, filled with light, nature, animals and great beauty. God is the God of the turnaround.
When Adam and Eve sinned against God and mankind’s future looked doomed to death and eternal separation from God, God sent Jesus to crush Satan’s head and redeem mankind from sin and death. God is the God of the turnaround.
