Larry Tomczak’s Week in Review: Why Are These Influential People Killing America?
In the Sermon on the Mount, the greatest Teacher who ever lived gave the greatest sermon ever given. Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers, they shall be called the children of God” (Matt. 5:9).
If ever America needed this message, it’s now. Probably the only other time in America’s history where there was more division was during the Civil War era.
So why is Mr. Biden telling Black students at Howard University that America’s greatest problem is white supremacists? And why is the “queen of media,” Oprah Winfrey, telling African-American graduates at Tennessee State University how terrible America is and rehearsing a litany of eight areas that will stir up further division and discontent?
Both influential leaders are not acting as peacemakers when they have that wonderful opportunity in a commencement address. Abraham Lincoln, Nelson Mandela, Billy Graham, Martin Luther King Jr. and others unified people, but something is greatly amiss in America a malevolent forces promote a woke mentality that is tearing us increasingly apart.
