How Every Charismatic Church Can Raise Up World-Changing Leaders With Their Own Bible Schools
Too many people go through life not fulfilling the God-given dreams and purposes in their hearts. But Dr. Randal Langley, president and CEO of Christian Life School of Theology Global, believes no Christian has to live that way. That’s why CLST Global is equipping charismatic churches to start their own Bible colleges and raise up world-changing leaders.
In this way, equipping people to fulfill those God-given purposes is one of the main missions of CLST Global. Dr. Ron Cottle founded the organization in 1983 with the vision of restoring quality, affordable Christian higher education to the local church. In 2013, Cottle transitioned the leadership over to Langley, his spiritual son. Over the years, CLST Global has created a successful track record as they’ve helped hundreds of churches launch their own Bible schools that truly contain the church’s unique brand and DNA. And although the organization has helped many Spirit-filled churches, they’ve also served churches outside of the charismatic community.
I’ve actually known Langley for many years, so I invited him on my podcast to talk about why CLST Global is so focused on helping people achieve their ultimate purpose.
“People today I think are being awakened or quickened in their lives so that they want to be more than just churchgoers,” he tells me. “They see themselves as having a kingdom purpose and calling. And so from my perspective, success happens when people can begin to fulfill, not just chase after, a passion. But when they can connect with purpose.”
Langley, who is also the president of Christian Life Educators Network (CLEN), and his wife have often gone to battered and bruised churches to bring healing and fresh vision. They both love to see God’s people walk in the fresh calling of the Holy Spirit. And what better way to help people do this than by equipping local churches to launch their own Bible schools?
Not only can churches better disciple leaders when they have their own Bible schools, but the money the schools bring in can fund additional staff, missions work and community outreach. It’s the kind of opportunity that blesses everyone involved.
That’s why Langley wrote a book called Why Every Church Needs a Bible School Now. In the book, Langley dives into why it’s so important for Christ-minded leaders to equip others to fulfill their callings from God. He also teaches how church leaders can effectively raise up other disciple-making leaders through their church-led Bible schools.
The book is available on Amazon as well as on iBook as an e-book. For more information on how your church can start its own Bible school, go to clstglobal.org.
