Prophecy: If You Feel Exhausted After Deliverance, You’re Doing It Wrong
There is a prophetic flow like a wellspring of life inside you. It is the flow of Jesus’ great love for you that He is abundantly releasing on your behalf. You have been shut off, and there have been pockets of enemy attacks and hurts that have infiltrated your soul. Your mind, will and emotions have been attacked by another person’s word, and that has closed you off to the Father’s love. The Lord is getting ready to put you in a deep river of His love. I see you being drenched in the love of the Father.
His love for you is so great. It is overwhelming. The joy He feels for you is exceedingly abundant.
I hear the Lord saying that your deliverance comes from knowing and receiving His love. We know the Lord loves us, but do we internalize it, really realize it and effectively receive it?
The Lord is speaking to His people and saying that deliverance isn’t always by casting out demons. Deliverance doesn’t have to be hard. You don’t have to feel exhausted and spent. He says, “Deliverance, the very core of deliverance, is receiving My love.”
What if we are doing deliverance wrong? What if our expectations are in a fight with the devil instead of the accomplishment of a Savior? Have you ever thought about that? What if our eyes are too focused on what the enemy is doing instead of on receiving from the Lord? What if our thoughts and perspectives are in the wrong place? Now, I do not deny we fight an enemy. Ephesians 6:12-13 says, “For our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”
Are you standing, or are you fighting? Are you constantly fighting and engaging in a battle Jesus already won? He defeated the enemy. Now we have to take that defeat and ride on it. We have to own it and continue to drive on it. We don’t need to go backward and get something we already have. We need to release it abundantly in our life. The finished atoning work of the cross is a defeat bigger than any win we could try and get.
The Lord is saying to you today that a mind renewal is necessary. You have to renew your mind so you are not always fighting a battle. He is saying, “You are making yourselves tired and making yourself weary.” Refreshing and renewal come from His love. It is a mind- and love- transformation that you need and that our Lord desires to release to you today.
Some of your minds have been in shackles and chains so long that you don’t know how to think. Your mind is twisted in thoughts. It has been difficult to separate your thoughts and move on because of your past hurts. The Lord is saying to you, “Some of you need to stop processing the hurts. Each time you process, dissect and try to figure out the hurts and what happened, you are going through the emotional trauma of the event all over again.” He says, “Receiving My love is key, Just receive. Stop trying to figure things out.”
I see places and pockets of hurt. You have been emotionally abused, and it has damaged your spiritual walk with the Lord. He is saying to you, “Allow Me to have those places of emotional abuse; allow Me to heal those damaged places.” He is saying, “Stop trying to work out your deliverance and simply receive your deliverance. Your salvation (deliverance) is here.”
There is a work mentality going on in the body of Christ, and people feel they have to work for their anointing, work for their elevation and work for their deliverance. God is saying to you today to stop working and start receiving. You are plowing in the spiritual realm but in unproductive ways. It is not creating results, but a weariness, a tiredness, and you are heavy at heart.
The Lord says, “I have come to give abundant life” (see John 10:10b) and to put on “the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness” (Isa. 61:3b).
“To preserve those who mourn in Zion, to give to them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified” (Isa. 61:3).
Isaiah says, “that He might be glorified.” We need to be living our lives in such a way that Jesus is glorified. Jesus doesn’t get glorified when we have our heads hung low in defeat. We are conquerors, “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us” (Rom. 8:37).
I see people walking around and living in depression, mental disability and mental illness. The Lord says to you today, “You just as valuable and important as the rest of My children.” He says, “Your mental incapacity, defeat and struggles do not define you. I define you. I am the Lord of your life, not your circumstances, surroundings and diagnoses. I am the Lord who defeated mental instability, emotional imbalances, fear, anxiety and paranoia.” He says, “Get your mind focused on Me. Receive not only in your heart the love I desire to give you, but receive it in your mind.” {eoa}
