A famine will soon ransack the nation, prophet Bobby Conner tells Jim Bakker.
But the famine he describes is not one where desolate plains sever us from food connections. Rather, Conner says Amos 8:11 is coming to pass.
“The time is coming, says the Lord God, when I will send a famine on the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord,” the Bible reads.
This could lead to increased persecution from those who do not fear the Lord.
