Prophetic Word: Your Deliverance Is on the Way

This week as I was praying, I heard the Holy Spirit speak and say to tell the body of Christ, “You are locked in but not locked out. The government may have quarantined you, but you are not locked out of My glory. In fact, the very place you are locked away in is now becoming your labor and delivery room. There is a birthing taking place. And even though you are experiencing labor pains now, the fulfillment of the promise will be easy and beautiful to behold. Hold on and stay strong. Your deliverance is on the way.”

The Lord led me to the book of Genesis and showed me how the Holy Spirit moved in the darkest moments, in times when it didn’t seem as if anything good was happening. The Holy Spirit moved on a set course to accomplish the plans of God.

“And the earth was without form, and void, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God moved over the surface of the water. God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light” (Gen. 1:2-3).

The words, “without form,” translated from the Hebrew word tohuw, means “to lie waste” and “a place of chaos and confusion.” The word “void,” translated from the Hebrew word bohuw, means “a state of waste and emptiness.”

To me, it almost seems comparable to what we are facing now as a global community—chaos!

Although we are grounded in Him, our circumstances have been anything but grounded. In fact, every single day our conditions are changing. In spite of the constant terror we are now facing from day to day, it does not change the fact that God is in control and, furthermore, He is moving in the midst of it, as He did in the beginning of creation. Just as it was then, so is it now—something new is getting ready to happen!

In verse 2, it says, “And the Spirit of God was moving.” The word for “Spirit” was translated from the Hebrew word ruach, defined as “wind.” It was the same word used in Ezekiel 37 when God instructed the prophet to prophesy to the wind, saying, “breathe upon these slain so that they live” (Ezek. 37:9b). I announce to you today the Spirit of God is moving right now. He is breathing the breath of life. A mighty army is arising. He is birthing a new movement that is marked by His glory.

The word “moved,” used in verse 2, can be defined as “to brood, to hover, to go in a specified direction or manner” and the root word for “moved over” means “to breed.” Did you see it? God’s plan for multiplication and blessing was birthed in the midst of darkness, chaos and a place of confusion. God was turning that state of chaos into a place of birthing. He, too, is doing the same thing today! A supernatural move of the Holy Spirit to birth, multiply and bless is on the way.

“And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light” (Gen. 1:3).

It just takes one word from God to change everything. The sun and the moon had yet to be created when He said, “Let there be light,” but yet light supernaturally penetrated the darkness! His word made what was naturally impossible suddenly possible.

Light was manifested by the power of His word! God would say to you this very hour, “Many of you are sitting in dark circumstances right now. But know this, the Holy Spirit is right on course. My plans are governed by My word. The darkness is being turned to great light. This is the greatest day to be alive. I will use you according to My purpose. Do not be dismayed by the confusion around you, but trust Me. You will see My glory. I am turning a global pandemic into a worldwide revival. I say once again, ‘Let there be light.’ It is your time to arise and be the light to the world.”

“Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For the darkness shall cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; but the Lord shall rise upon you, and His glory shall be seen upon you” (Isa. 60:1-2).

I heard the Lord also say, “There has been a fog of confusion sent to cloud your 2020 vision, but don’t despair in the haze. I am bringing clarity for you to see through the smog of the wicked one, and there is coming a massive wave of payback. Every promise that I spoke through my prophets will come forth. The devil cannot stop what I have already spoken. Seek after Me, and you will find Me. I am here and working for your good.”

God has good plans for us. Our future is secured in Him. God is moving, even in times of darkness. I hear the Lord say, “Take courage and stand strong, My hand is bringing deliverance to you. I will bring you out of bondage by My strong arm!”

“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope'” (Jer. 29:11, NLT). {eoa}
