It’s no secret that the enemy is still killing, stealing and destroying in the world today. Evidence is all around us. The good news is, as believers, we don’t need to be subject to the enemy, and we can live above His plots and attacks. The church is seated with Christ in the heavenly places, above all spiritual powers, and we have the power of the Spirit to reign in life through Jesus. The church is meant to rise and shine in this critical hour, and God has given us all the tools necessary.

Corey believes that arming ourselves in God’s Word and praying in the Spirit can literally empower us to defeat the enemy in every circumstance. There is no way we can reign in life by striving and using natural weapons in the day and age we are living. The apostle Paul tells us to “be strong in the Lord and the power of His might” (Eph. 6:10). We need the might and strength of the Lord if we’re to overcome anxiety, fear, sickness, depression and this world’s system. The church is God’s royal family, and we can live like it by putting on the armor of God.
