The Real Key to Seeing Your Miracle Prayers Answered
“Then a woman, who was ill with a flow of blood for twelve years, came behind Him and touched the hem of His garment. For she said within herself, ‘If I may just touch His garment, I shall be healed.’ But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her, He said, ‘Daughter, be of good comfort. Your faith has made you well.’ And the woman was made well instantly” (Matt. 9:20-22).
Her faith was in the fact that Jesus was the healer and if she only could touch the healer’s garment, she would be healed. We, too, know that Jesus in the healer, but often we look at a person instead of the healer. There is a point when we receive prayer that our faith is activated and increased to believe for what we are expecting. Are we putting our expectations in a point of contact such as oil, hands being laid on us or a prayer shawl, or is our faith ultimately in the healer?
