Word for Election From Spirit-Filled Friends Across the Pond
For so many years our hearts have been entwined with all our American friends and those gathered under your star-spangled banner. We have always prayed for you and your great nation.
We have traveled and spoken in many of your states and felt the pulse of your people. On 9/11 we stood from afar and watched your nation cry, yet we stood under Freedom Tower that rose from the ashes of ground zero.
Tonight as you choose your president, we stand, praying in the Spirit that God will place the right person in office to hold that baton till handover. Do not be afraid; do not fear, America, for you are the greatest nation on the planet, and your ability to reinvent yourselves is phenomenal.
Your British cousins pray that you will be like Joshua, strong and courageous warriors who have no fear, but a sound mind. For in the end you are the fiber that holds the flag together and the generation to pass on the baton.
You are God’s chosen, and you are here for such a time as this. You are America, and America is you. Tonight is a turning point for your nation. Turn with it, let the change that comes be the change for good. Be led by the Spirit in all you do, for those who do are truly the sons and daughters of God. {eoa}
