Marco Rubio Takes His Fight Directly to Hillary Clinton
In his newest television ad, U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio lays out the case for why Hillary Clinton shouldn’t be president.
The 30-second spot began running Wednesday in New Hampshire and South Carolina, states where he has slipped out of the top three in recent polling. The ad focuses on Clinton’s failures as secretary of state, and how he would deal with the threat of ISIS.
“Hillary Clinton is disqualified from being commander in chief of the United States. Someone who cannot handle intelligence information appropriately cannot be commander in chief. And someone who lies to the families of those four victims of Benghazi can never be president of the United States.
“When I am president, we are going to win this war on ISIS. The most powerful military in the world is going to destroy them, and if we capture any of them alive, they are getting a one-way ticket to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and we are going to find out everything they know.”
The campaign didn’t announce the size of the ad buy, but previous buys have been sizable, and have reached beyond traditional broadcast television and cable or satellite subscribers. Several of his ads now appear on streaming services, such as hulu.com.
