Prayer Can Make a Kingdom Difference in Any Church!
A small church of 60 people near Albany, New York, that had not grown numerically in years simply tweaked how they were praying and saw seven people come to faith in Jesus within a two-month period.
A church of around 100 in northwest Washington started praying more regularly, but also a little differently, and saw a significant move of God in their midst that included more than 16 salvations within a short time period.
What these two churches have in common—besides the change in how they prayed—is a connection to the Church Prayer Leaders Network (CPLN). The CPLN partnered with both churches to help them target their prayers in a more effective way.
The CPLN has been coming alongside churches to help them become “houses of prayer,” to make prayer foundational to their ministries, for the past 20 years. Originally founded by C. Peter Wagner and Terry Teykl, the CPLN is now a ministry of the National Day of Prayer Task Force.
Pastors and local church prayer leaders who join the CPLN are provided access to resources on growing prayer in their churches, consulting services and prayer weekends and are networked with other CPLN members so they can “talk shop” about growing prayer in their church.

I love sharing the tips and insights with my church’s growing prayer team and pastors.”
The CPLN’s website, prayerleader.com, has more than 700 articles and ideas to help disciple people in prayer and to assist churches in their efforts to grow in prayer. Members receive access to all this, plus a print magazine (U.S. members get print, international members have digital access), an email newsletter, a private Facebook community, and discounts on more than 150 prayer resources at the CPLN online store.
