New Film Unravels Kingdom Revelation, Infusing Next Generation With Spiritual Power
With a passion for writing and martial arts, Adam Smit could appreciate a good conflict. But what happened when God asked Smit to delve deeper into the world of spiritual sparring instead of mastering the physical fight?
Viewers can see the result of such a call in theaters across 12 states, including Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas and Utah, on March 26, 2021.
Directed by Smit and produced by Jenny Chen, The Mystery of the Kingdom of God is a 3D computer-animated film that includes prophecies and references from the Bible, including the books of Ezekiel, Isaiah, Matthew and Revelation.
Produced for the upcoming Spirit-empowered generation, this prophetic film brings children and adults alike back to the basis for Christianity: the blood of Jesus, the power of the cross and spiritual warfare.
The film is for “people who are not childish but childlike,” Smit says. It explores questions like: What does it take to enter the kingdom of God? What does it take to be filled with the Holy Spirit? What is the hope of salvation, and is there more beyond this? Is there more to Christianity?
Listen to this Charisma Connection podcast interview to learn more about how God divinely aligned Smit and Chen to produce this project. The interview also explores the challenges of working with a secular animation company to produce a Spirit-filled film that inspires youth to level up in the kingdom before they level up in their favorite video games.
