True Financial Prosperity

My prayer is that my experience in the areas of banking, finance and pastoring will reveal how to receive God’s financial blessing in your life. In addition, we will learn how to grow from the mistakes of others in the area of their finances.

Have you ever wondered what robs us from receiving financial blessings? There are many reasons that we will not receive a financial blessing in our lives. First, we must never violate the guidelines God has given us to receive a financial blessing. He will withhold that blessing if we ignore His instructions found throughout His Word. We must learn to avoid the feelings of envy, greed and self-entitlement to receive the Lord’s blessing in our finances.

In this month’s teaching, we will learn what will open up the windows of heaven to receive financial prosperity. We must understand the difference between false or fake prosperity and true prosperity. True prosperity comes from a right relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Whereas false prosperity is something conceived by man; therefore, it has no substance or foundation and will not last.

Throughout these podcast episodes, we will come to understand how to avoid making the wrong decisions and being robbed of our financial blessings. Those who make financial prosperity their God destroy their destiny. Seeking our Lord for wisdom in financial decisions directs us toward our destiny. We will learn how to avoid envy and jealousy of the financial successes of others. We will be taught how to always put God first in your desire to prosper.

There is a great misunderstanding of true or false prosperity. True prosperity is simply truth. The Bible tells us that truth will always set us free. May I add that manipulating what is truth will always lead us to financial failure. Practicing and understanding true riches here on earth will lead us into receiving the true riches in heaven provided by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

True prosperity is spirit-led whereas false prosperity is led by man’s carnality. False prosperity is always the world’s plan for getting rich quick. The Bible teaches us that financial riches are best achieved through steady work. When we establish a prayer-based, biblically sound financial plan, we will receive true riches.

Those who seek overnight financial success will usually suffer overnight failure. Once again, the Bible gives us instructions on what we should seek and how we should seek it. One of my favorite Scriptures tells us to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you (Matt. 6:33). In order to receive true prosperity, we must seek God first. As a believer in Jesus Christ, we must put Him first in all our decisions and desires. The Bible tells us that a man plans his ways and the Lord directs his steps (Prov. 16:9). Both of these Scriptures help us understand how God wants us to receive true prosperity.

In Hebrews 11:6, we read that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. If we base our financial plan on this scriptural verse, we are guaranteed to be blessed of the Lord. May I ask that you avoid any type of false prosperity and always seek the message of true prosperity taught by the Lord?
