Anointed to Wait
I am a firm believer that many of us are gifted. This gifting was embedded in our DNA when God created us. Just as the Lord told Jeremiah before you were formed in your mother’s womb, “I knew thee… and I ordained thee … a prophet” (Jer. 1:5b, KJV). Many of us have been gifted before birth and now that purpose and destiny have collided in our lives, we are seeing the manifestation of the gift and calling. Yes, it’s there but we are now perplexed because something on the inside of us is saying there is more and we can’t seem to tap into it.
This is because our assignment for a short season may very well be to wait. Just as in any assignment the Lord gives, He also gives an anointing for it. In a season of waiting, there is also an anointing released to wait. So be encouraged while you’re waiting on your next because the Bible lets us know that “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up on wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint” (Isa. 40:31, NIV). Get ready soon. Your next will be now, the wait will be over and your new assignment will be released. {eoa}
