Sexual Assault Accuser Calls Out Liberal Network as ‘Predator Protecting Machine’
Dustin Hice, who has accused CNN host Don Lemon of sexually charged assault and battery at New York bar in 2018, says Lemon’s network is “rife with predators and perverts,” Fox News has reported.
After a prolonged legal process, Hice’s case is expected to end up in court early next year. Meanwhile, Hice is happy to see that CNN terminated another host, Chris Cuomo, a good friend of Lemon’s, this past weekend amid a series of sexual misconduct-related scandals of his own.
“Lemon will have to testify under oath in the near future, but it’s good to see that there is finally some accountability happening,” Hice told Fox News recently.
CNN has stood by Lemon throughout the process of the Hice case. It did so with Cuomo until startling revelations from the New York attorney general’s office about his involvement in protecting his brother, former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, finally forced CNN to take action.
Fox News reported that CNN learned about a new sexual harassment allegation against Chris Cuomo before making the decision to terminate his employment after months of keeping him on air amid multiple scandals.
“This is who they are,” Hice said of CNN. “They are a predator-protecting machine. They slander and smear victims with impunity.”
Hice has proven repeatedly he is not after money but simply integrity and accountability. He has turned down multiple settlement offers from CNN because of the network’s insistence in protecting Lemon, one of its most prominent anchors.
“They’ve tried to grind me down, they’ve attempted to intimidate witnesses in my case,” Hice told Fox News. “They’ve released confidential information about me in an attempt to dox me. They are complicit. Again, this is who they are.”
Lemon, meanwhile, has denied all wrongdoing and has called the lawsuit “frivolous.” {eoa}
