Kanye West (Ye) is at it again, and new Twitter CEO Elon Musk has had enough.

Hours after Ye posted a series of controversial tweets Thursday, Musk, who recently purchased the social media giant, suspended the rapper for anti-Semitic remarks and photos he posted this week on Twitter. Fox News reported that Ye posted a graphic that “appeared to be a Nazi swastika inside a Star of David, a religious symbol of Judaism, and indicated it would be used as the logo for his 2024 presidential campaign.”

Musk says the graphic and accompanying remarks were simply unacceptable for Twitter’s policies and that Ye had crossed a line in his provoking tweets. The tweet was quickly removed.

“I tried my best. Despite that, he (Ye) violated our rule against incitement to violence. Account will be suspended,” Musk wrote in response to Ye’s tweet.

Ever the controversial figure, Ye has been under recent media scrutiny since he brought white nationalist Nick Fuentes as a guest to dine with Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.

He has since followed that up with a quick media tour, including a guest spot on the Alex Jones Show, in which he has unbelievably praised Adolph Hitler and the Nazi party, insisting that he “loves” Nazis and likes Hitler.

“I see good things about Hitler … Everything has something of value that they brought to the tab le,” a hooded Ye said on the Alex Jones’ show “Info Wars.” “The Jewish media has made us feel like the Nazis and Hitler never offered anything of value. … They did a lot of good things, too. We’ve got to stop dissing the Nazis all the time.”

Ye’s remarks were simply too much for Musk and encouraged him not to respond critically to others. Musk pointed him to Jesus and teachings in the New Testament.

“Jesus taught love, kindness and forgiveness,” Musk said on Wednesday. “I used to think that turning the other cheek was weak and foolish, but I was the fool for not appreciating its profound wisdom.”

Just before his account was suspended Thursday night, Ye retaliated against Musk, with Fox News reporting that he tweeted out an “unflattering” picture of a shirtless Musk aboard a yacht with Endeavor CEO Ari Emmanuel spraying him with a hose and writing, “Let’s always remember this as my final tweet.”

Musk simply replied to the tweet, “Frankly, I found those pics to be helpful motivation to lose weight!”

“Just clarifying that his account is being suspended for incitement to violence, not an unflattering picture of me being hosed by Ari,” Musk wrote.

He further joked, “Frankly, I found those pics to be helpful motivation to lose weight!”

Musk reinstated Ye’s Twitter account after taking control of the company following his $44 billion takeover.

The tech billionaire mogul has also welcomed back other notable figures such as former President Trump, who has not yet taken him up on the offer. {eoa}
