Bolz Prophetic Dream: Is the Lord Releasing Deliverance?
I want to take a few minutes to share a prophetic dream I had this week and what it might mean for you.
I heard the Lord say: “We are in a season of deliverance. Both deliverance from demonic oppression but also a season of deliverance from societal, racial, financial and political oppression.
I had a dream and multitudes of people were worshiping together in a stadium. It was being telecast to stadiums around the world. There were leaders, but suddenly someone in the crowd stood up and began to prophesy and their voice was loud even in such a vast auditorium.
They looked like a mix of Billy Graham and Corrie Ten Boom. (Bill was one of the leading evangelists of all time and Corrie was a surviving Christian who hid Jewish people during the Holocaust and in the end of her life had a powerful deliverance ministry). The person shouted this prophecy:
“Behold My presence is coming now. I am the God of deliverance, and I am bringing a season of breakthrough and freedom to My people. I am releasing My power to break every stronghold and to defeat every force of demonic warfare that has been coming against My people.
“For too long, My people have been held captive by the enemy, trapped in cycles of addiction, fear and bondage. But I am saying to you today, that the time for deliverance has come. I am releasing My anointing to break the chains of captivity and to set the captives free.
“I am raising up a remnant of warriors who will not be defeated by the enemy, but who will stand in My power and authority. They will take up the sword of the Spirit, which is My Word, and they will use it to defeat every lie and deception of the enemy.
Through the power of My Spirit, My people will be able to overcome every temptation and every attack of the enemy. They will rise up in faith and courage, and they will walk in the fullness of My freedom.
“I am releasing a wave of healing and deliverance to My people, that they may be set free from every wound and every trauma of the past. They will no longer be held captive by the pain of their past, but they will be able to walk in the fullness of My joy and peace.
“I am calling My people to rise up in faith and to declare My victory over every area of their lives. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
“Know that I am with you, and that I am bringing deliverance power to break every stronghold and demonic warfare that has been coming against you. Trust in Me, and you will see My salvation.”
When they finished the prophecy, wave after wave of sovereign deliverance started to hit the crowd. For some people demons manifested and came out of them. For others, it was demonic influences over circumstances that broke. For others spiritual warfare just ceased as the battle belonged to Jesus and the victory was His. It was finished.
When I woke up. I knew that the dream was indicating that this move of God, these outpourings are going to continually be marked by deliverance, repentance, weeping and restoration.
We know biblically that in this moment, God’s deliverance is available to anyone who seeks it with a humble and repentant heart.
The Bible is filled with stories of how God delivered His people from slavery, oppression and other forms of bondage. In Exodus, God delivered the Israelites from slavery in Egypt through miraculous signs and wonders.
In the book of Judges, God raised up judges to deliver His people from their oppressors. In the New Testament, Jesus delivered people from demonic oppression, sickness and sin.
As Christians, we believe that God’s deliverance is available to us through faith in Jesus Christ. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus has defeated sin, death and the powers of darkness. He has made a way for us to be free from the bondage of sin and to walk in the newness of life.
In Romans 6:6-7, the apostle Paul writes, “We know that our old self was crucified with Him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. For one who has died has been set free from sin.” This is the power of the cross—that through faith in Jesus Christ, we have been set free from the power of sin and death.
Right now, God’s deliverance is available to anyone who seeks it. If you are struggling with sin, addiction, fear or any other form of bondage, know that God is able and willing to set you free. Call upon the name of Jesus, confess your sins and ask Him to deliver you. He will hear your cry and answer you.
Psalm 34:4-5 says, “I sought the Lord, and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to Him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed.” God’s deliverance is available at this moment. Look to Him, trust in Him and He will set you free.
Here are three Bible verses to meditate on for this prophetic perspective:
- 2 Corinthians 10:4-5: “For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ.” This verse emphasizes that our warfare is not physical, but spiritual. Through the power of God, we have the ability to break strongholds and take captive every thought that does not align with God’s truth.
- James 4:7: “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” This verse reminds us that when we submit to God and resist the devil, he must flee. We have the power to resist the enemy through the authority given to us by Jesus Christ.
- Psalm 34:17-18: “When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” This verse reminds us that when we cry out to the Lord for help, He hears us and delivers us from all our troubles. We can trust in His nearness and His desire to bring us freedom and healing.
