Memphis Ministry Honors MLK with Prayer and Fasting

A Memphis, TN ministry is honoring the anniversary of Martin Luther King’s assassination with prayer and fasting. Operation Revive Memphis, part of The Warriors Center, is on the move for the Holy Spirit. They are working to bring healing while honoring the faith and heroism of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Yesterday marked the anniversary of Dr. King’s death.

Standing in front of the motel where King was assassinated, his son, Martin Luther King III spoke on his father’s dream for a more united nation. It is a reminder that there is still work to do.

The Warriors Center CEO David Vincent said the organization will be doing “fasting, prayer and racial reconciliation” for a better tomorrow.

The group started their 21-day fast yesterday, and are encouraging others to pray for specific needs for revival and the end of racial tensions. Prayer and fasting points include prayer for personal prayer teams, security teams and more for the organization. {eoa}
