‘I’m In Love With a Church Girl’ Encourages Shared Christian Belief Among Couples
I’m In Love With A Church Girl is a faith-based drama with a few laughs.
The movie stars rapper Jeff ‘Ja Rule’ Atkins as Miles Montego, a former drug dealer who’s living the high life with plenty of money to spare. Though he’s now a legitimate businessman trying to turn his life around, the DEA is keeping a close eye on him. Jason McDaniels, played by Stephen Baldwin, surveils Miles and his friends, looking for a crime to pin on him.
With her parents’ permission, Miles proposes to Vanessa and she accepts. But a tragedy strikes that will provide the ultimate test for Miles’ new faith.
Overall, I’m In Love With A Church Girl has a heartfelt Christian message that many will enjoy. A light caution is advised for some brief foul language and one scene of violence.
