Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is throwing his name into the potential GOP ring by forming a new political action committee: Our American Revival.
“Our American Revival encompasses the shared values that make our country great,” Walker tells the Washington Times. “Limiting the powers of the federal government to those defined in the Constitution while creating a leaner, more efficient, more effective and more accountable government to the American people.”
Walker has openly talked about how his faith guides his life, using social media platforms to share Scriptures.
According to its website, Our American Revival “believes that the government closest to the people is the most responsive and accountable to the people. We share the vision of our founders—that the powers of the federal government should be limited to those specified in the Constitution, and that federal overreach infringes on our American freedoms and values.”
Walker has hired former Mike Huckabee campaign strategist David Polyansky to aid him during this time.
